TIME TO WAKE UP

WHERE IS BERLIN

“Where is Berlin” is a visually striking animated short set in the decadent cyberpunk sprawl of HOPE City, a crumbling metropolis where neon lights mask existential decay. The story follows Ian, a restless citizen whose life unravels after he encounters a mysterious cult that believes cosmic radio bursts are the voice of God. When Ian comes into contact with their enigmatic cube, he is drawn into a transformative journey that challenges his understanding of faith, technology, and reality itself.

Conceived and directed by Augusto Mendez, this short film serves as the first glimpse into a vast and evolving universe — one that will transcend animation to expand into new formats and storytelling mediums. Through its haunting atmosphere, bold visual language, and philosophical undertones, Where is Berlin marks the beginning of an ambitious creative vision exploring humanity’s search for meaning in a world dominated by machines, illusion, and light.
